I know oatmeal is super good for you, but it sure gets old after awhile. I did come across some new toppings on the quaker oats website, but then I came across this. Definitely have to try it! :)

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oats
- 2/3 cup milk of choice OR water
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- sweetener of choice to taste (depending on desired sweetness)
- pinch of salt
- 1 tbs peanut butter (or almond butter, PB2, or FitNutz)
*Optional additions: 1/2 mashed banana, chopped nuts, 1tsp light hershey’s syrup, coconut, 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder.
Method:
Stove Top Cooking Directions
- Combine the oats, milk (or water), cocoa powder, and salt in a small pot and bring to a boil over medium high heat.
- Reduce heat to medium low and cover for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and sweetener of choice.
- Spoon peanut butter on top, and mix throughout. (Or just grab a little peanut butter from the dollop with each bite!)
Microwave Directions (Quick Cooking Method)
- Put oats into a microwavable-safe bowl an add in 2/3 cup of milk (or water).
- Microwave for 2- 2 1/2 minutes, and stir in cocoa powder, sweetener, salt, and vanilla until everything is well combined.
- Spoon peanut butter on top, and mix throughout. (Or just grab a little peanut butter from the dollop with each bite!)
